This striking, yet discreet day collar was crafted with the finest quality sterling silver rings, woven carefully by hand in the intricate and elegant Byzantine chainmaille weave. Measuring just 6 mm thick, this style of chain makes for a perfect "in polite company" collar, while still being sturdy enough for 24/7 wear (yes, even in the shower ;-)).
The collar closes in front with a gorgeous silver heart shaped padlock, made exclusively for Brain of Jen from solid .925 sterling silver and features beveled corners and a seamless edge for both comfort and durability. The lock measures about 20 mm across, and comes with two sterling silver heart keys.

What’s the best way to measure my neck?
Using a regular tape measure, have the two ends meet exactly where you’d like the lock to sit. If you happen to fall between sizes, go up to the next even number. And that’s it! Easy peasy :)
Can I wear my collar 24/7, even in the shower?
Yes! I make all my collars suitable for 24/7 wear; I use anodized aluminum for the chains because it’s hypoallergenic, doesn’t rust or tarnish, and can be cleaned easily with soap and water. Just be sure to use the polishing cloth included with your order to polish up the lock regularly, and dry it thoroughly after a shower - especially around the edges of the lock where water can seep under the enamel. Ideally though, taking it off for showering and sleeping will help increase its life span significantly. Generally speaking, after about 6 months or so, the lock would need replacing with 24/7 wear, but can last years if it’s removed at shower & bed time.
Care instructions
Use the polishing cloth that’s included with your order to keep the lock looking shiny and new, and the chain cleans up easily with just a bit of soap and water.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Since I know most collars are given as gifts, your collar will arrive already gift boxed with a color coordinated box and tissue paper to keep it safe during transit. No invoice or packing slip will be included unless requested. Note cards for special messages are also available upon request :)

This is the second collar and lock we've bought and we love them! We only bought another to upgrade my collar to the full sterling silver one, nothing wrong with my other. Super quick delivery to UK, some customs charges to pay but we expected that. great communication from seller, and the quality of the chain is just 👌🏼 really beautiful, I get so many compliments. The lock is also great quality and having been wearing my first one over a year, it's still perfect. Very highly recommended
